Start publishing to Instagram
Step 1. In your dashboard, click on the green + sign and then click on Create Social post.
Step 2. Start by activating your Instagram account from the sidebar.
Step 3. Create your social post. Visit this help article to learn about the available options and features. You can choose to create a social post from your blog article, image, carousel, or video.
🔔 Note: Instagram does not allow link posts through the API. StoryChief will fall back to posting a thumbnail of the link.
🔔 Note: Instagram requires images to have an aspect ratio between 4:5 and 1:91:1. If your posting photos out of that aspect ratio an error message will appear asking you to fix the issue (learn more).
Smart Crop is a feature that will select the best crop size and aspect ratio for each social media destination. StoryChief will also try to detect the most important part of the image to focus on.
Step 4. Once you have finished creating your social post, you can click on Publish or Schedule to publish the post on a different date and time.
