Stats from your stories are visible in reports. Let's learn how to find them and what insights they can bring you.

Watch our Academy video πŸ“Ή on Managing your Content Archive, for a step-by-step guide:

Start analyzing your story reports

Navigate to the Stories overview page and click on "Report" next to a published story.

At the top, you will see the combined view, reads, leads (if acquired), and the average read time from every channel that it was published to.

Just underneath, there is a graph that shows the progression of each of those stats over time. You can turn each on and off by clicking on them.

If you keep scrolling down, you will see individual stats for each channel. As explained in our article about metrics, you can differentiate between a read or views (impressions).

Click on "show details" to see a graph for that channel.

Printing Reports

Click on "Print" at top right of the report. If you want to exclude a specific channel, go first to the Channels Breakdown section and click on "exclude from print" next to that channel. Afterwards you can click on "Print".

Sharing Reports

Click on "Create link" to enable a public link:

Afterwards, enable link sharing to let people view the report without needing to have a StoryChief account. Just send the link to give access:

πŸ”” Note: The metrics on the story report only get synced once a day, so we recommend waiting a few hours after publishing the story to check these metrics.
