Whether your company uses Claude as the go-to AI tool or you just love working in it, you can keep using Claude to create content and have it imported into StoryChief with just a couple of clicks.
Even better: you can first also draft content based on other tools connected to Claude. For example: Get Semrush keywords → create your article in Claude → send it directly to StoryChief.
In this guide, we’ll show you how to enable StoryChief MCP quickly and safely. No IT wizardry or advanced tech skills required.
❌ Limitations: Full support for MCP is currently only available for Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise accounts.
Start setting up StoryChief MCP in Claude
Step 1. Click on your profile icon (often your initials) in the lower-left corner and choose "Settings" from the menu.
In the Settings, select "Connectors" and click "Add custom connector."
Step 2. Enter the MCP Server information:
Name: StoryChief
URL:
https://mcp.storychief.io/mcpand
When everything is filled in, click "Add".
💡 To connect multiple workspaces, create a separate connector for each. Give each connector a clear name and a unique URL. You can make URLs unique by appending ?workspace=[workspace-slug].
Example:
Workspace: Microsoft
Connector name: Microsoft - StoryChief MCP
Connector URL: https://mcp.storychief.io/mcp?workspace=microsoft
Workspace: Apple
Connector name: Apple - StoryChief MCP
Connector URL: https://mcp.storychief.io/mcp?workspace=apple
Step 3. Press "Connect" on the new custom connector. This will bring you to a StoryChief Authorization screen. Select the workspace you want to connect and press “Authorize".
Step 4. Activate the StoryChief app you just created in the chat before starting the query.
