StoryChief allows you to publish videos directly to your YouTube Shorts channel.
π Note: Make sure you have admin access to the channel & that your YouTube account has a channel.
Start connecting your Instagram account
Step 1. Visit your Channels page by expanding the top-right menu and clicking on Integrations. π Quick link.
Step 2. Click on or scroll down to "Social networks". Choose YouTube shorts.
Step 3. Click on "Add new destination".
Step 4. You will now be sent to YouTube to authorise the request by logging in to the Google account that is linked to the YouTube channel.
On the next screen, go through the permissions screen to set everything up.
Step 5. Back in StoryChief, you'll see the channel name and below the option to set a different display name and a default video category to publish to.
Step 6. Below, it's possible to set the default privacy status (Public, Unlisted, Private) of your published videos and a default license (YouTube, Creative Common).
Step 7. At the bottom of the settings page, there are radio buttons to set whether users need to be notified, whether embedding is allowed and whether the video is made for kids.
