Before you get started:
Start publishing to Google My Business
Step 1. In your dashboard, click on '+ Create' and then click on 'Create Social post' or 'Generate social posts'.
Step 2. Start by activating your Google My Business account from the sidebar.
Step 3. Create your social post. Visit this help article to learn about the available options and features. You can create a social post from your blog article, image, carousel, or video.
π Note: Google does not allow link posts for offers through the API.
Step 4. Once you have finished creating your social post, you can click on Publish or Schedule to publish the post on a different date and time.
Update
Step 1. Create a social media post (see above) and select the pencil icon to edit the post type. Here, select 'Update'.
Step 2. Choose the button label for the post:
None (no button)

Step 2. Fill in the right fields. Title, Start date & End date are required. The coupon information (Coupon code, Redeem URL, 'Terms & conditions') are optional. Click 'Save' to confirm.
Event
Step 1. Create a social media post (see above) and select the pencil icon to edit the post type. Here, select 'Event'.
Step 2. Fill in the right fields. Title, Start date & End date are required. A button is optional, and has the following options:
None (no button)
