The RSS channel can help you integrate your articles into platforms and mailing tools not natively supported by StoryChief, such as MailerLite or Hubspot.

If you use MailChimp, Active Campaign or Campaign Monitor as your mailing tool, check out our help articles at the bottom of this page to find out how to connect those platforms to StoryChief.

Start creating an RSS feed

Step 1. Visit your channel page by expanding the top-right menu and clicking on Integrations. πŸ‘‰ Quick link.

Step 2. Select 'RSS' in the Content Hub section and click 'Add New Destination' to link your RSS feed to StoryChief.

Step 3. You can now create your RSS feed:

  1. Give it a name for easy recognition if you create multiple RSS feed destinations.

  2. Choose if you only want to show a small summary of the articles (typically this is the cover image, the title and the excerpt) or if you prefer showing the full content

  3. Click on Save settings when finished.

Your newly created RSS feed is now ready to be used. You can copy the given URL and use it in your mailing tool or anywhere else where you want to show a list with the last published articles.

Adjusting the output

It is possible to limit your RSS feed when using it with an external application/service.
Add skip=X or limit=X to the end of the address.

This example skips the first article and will only show 10 in total.
