For WordPress, Drupal, Craft, Fork CMS, SiteManager, HubSpot, Shopify, Joomla! and Webflow CMS we have created plugins that enable you to connect to StoryChief in just a matter of minutes.
But there are hundreds of other CMS systems, such as Squarespace, Kentico, Umbraco, Magento, TYPO3, Pimcore, Adobe Experience Manager, and Sitecore that do not currently have a plugin available.Β
However, there are still two ways of publishing the content from your StoryChief account to your CMS system:
You can develop a connection yourself using our API. This requires some technical knowledge
βUsing the Clipboard channel:
With this channel, you can transfer articles to websites that are not maintained by yourself or which cannot be connected directly from StoryChief.

How to set up the Clipboard channel
Step 1. Visit your Channels page by expanding the top-right menu and clicking on Integrations. π Quick link.
Step 2. Select "Clipboard" in the Personal Website section and click on "Add New Destination" button to link your Clipboard channel to StoryChief.
Step 3. Insert the domain of the website you would like to transfer your article to. Press save and you are ready to go!
How to transfer your articles
Step 1. Write your article and complete the "Summary" section.
Step 2. Proceed to the "Audience" tab and you will find your newly created Clipboard channel. Click on "Transfer your article". As you can see we have already defined a URL where your article should be available, you can change this if necessary.
π Note: If you already have a URL for the article, you can click "Edit" and insert your own link. Then proceed to "Transfer your article".
Step 3. The Clipboard page allows you to easily copy and paste your article into your CMS.Β
βStep 4. Publish the article on your website via your CMS.
Step 5. Go back to StoryChief and publish to all other channels such as social channels, newsletters, referral marketing, etc.
If you selected more than one website, you may want to choose the Clipboard channel as your primary channel. Click on "Confirm". Β
π The article has now been published on all of your other channels!
