It can occur that you don't see your Facebook page listed when trying to connect StoryChief. One of the possible causes is that you're not an admin of the page you are trying to connect. The first step to solve this is to check your admin status.

Check your Facebook admin status

Step 1. Go to your Meta Business Suite Settings and select the account of the Facebook Page you want to access. This should open the People page for the Business portfolio.

Step 2. Check if you name is listed here and click to open more details. Preferably, a user has Full control over a page they have all the permissions needed to connect the page.

  • When the person isn't listed, click 'Invite people' to add them

  • When the person has insufficient rights, click 'Manage' next to their name

Step 3. Another way to look at this is by opening the 'Pages' window a bit further down. Here, all the Facebook pages are listed, so click on the correct one. At the bottom, the list of people with access is displayed.

Step 4. Verify that Your name ( or the name of the person you want to give access to ) is listed here and has sufficient permissions.

Check if the correct user is listed under 'People', preferably with Full control so they have all the permissions needed to connect the page.

  • When the person isn't listed, click 'Assign people' to add them

  • When the person has insufficient rights, click 'Manage' next to their name
