Connecting or reconnecting your Instagram Professional account (Business or creator) can be a little tricky. This guide will help if you are not seeing your Instagram account listed when you're working through the steps to connect your account.
Start Troubleshooting
Step 1. Head over to Meta Business Suite and the first thing to check is whether an Instagram page is connected (top of the page). If no page is listed here, connect the Instagram Business page.
Step 2. Go to the 'Settings' and scroll down to 'Instagram account' (Accounts section). Here, the connected page is also listed. When clicking on the account, more information becomes visible.
Step 3. Check if the correct user is listed under 'People', preferably with Full control so they have all the permissions needed to connect the page.
When the person isn't listed, click 'Assign people' to add them
When the person has insufficient rights, click 'Manage' next to their name
π You're done. You should now be able to properly connect your Instagram account.
Were you able to connect your Instagram account to StoryChief but a few hours or days later the channel got disconnected again? Then chances are high that you don't have the right admin access or you might still need to give StoryChief the right permissions in order to successfully connect your account.
