Agency settings & personalization

Customize branding and workspace defaults across all your client accounts.

Written by Carmen Villanueva

As an agency, you can control what your clients see inside their workspaces and ensure every outgoing notification carries your brand, or theirs.

Agency settings are configured in your parent workspace and automatically copied to new client workspaces when they're created. You can adjust them per workspace at any time.

If you haven't set up your agency account yet, start with the 👋 Welcome, Agency: Setup & workspace guide first.

🔔 Note: You need to be an Admin in the parent workspace to access these settings.

Agency settings

Step 1. Go to Settings in your parent workspace, then click Agency, or use this quick link.

Step 2. Toggle 'Hide billing page' to prevent client workspace users from seeing billing details. This is off by default, since billing is typically managed from the parent workspace.

Step 3. Toggle 'Disable weekly digest' to stop the automated weekly statistics email from being sent to users in this workspace. Learn more about weekly digests.

This is useful if your clients don't need automated reports from StoryChief every week. Once changed, this setting is automatically applied to all new client workspaces created from that moment onwards.

🔔 Note: Individual users can re-enable the weekly digest from their own notification center. Manage notifications.

Step 4. Toggle 'Disable approval reminder emails' to stop automated approval reminder emails from being sent in this workspace. By default, these reminders are sent after 7 and 14 days if content hasn't been approved.

Once changed, this setting is automatically applied to all new client workspaces created from that moment onwards.

Branding & personalization

White-label your outgoing emails so clients receive approval requests, collaboration invites, and shared calendar notifications under your agency's, or their own, brand.

Step 5. Scroll to the Branding section and fill in:

  • Logo: displayed on all public and shareable pages. If not set, the StoryChief logo is shown instead.

  • From name: the sender name shown in automated emails to your clients.

  • From email: the sender address, so clients immediately recognize where the email is coming from. If you want to customize the email domain, just let us know at help@storychief.io.

💡 Tip: These branding settings are also copied to new workspaces automatically. You can override them per workspace if a specific client prefers their own branding in notifications.
