a. Performance overview
The organic performance gives an overview of your website traffic for a specific amount of time (7 days, 30 days, 90 days or 180 days). The rapport has 4 metrics:
Impressions: The number of times your pages appeared in search results.
Clicks: The number of clicks to your site from search results.
Position: The position of your site in search results, where 1 is the topmost position, 2 is the next and so on.
CTR: The percentage of impressions that resulted in a click.
The report can also be toggled between keywords and pages.
Further down is the click performance that gives more in-depth information regarding which keywords/pages are top-performing, growing or most declining.
The Position performance shows the keywords in ranking 8 - 10 because they offer a lot of potential when used in content.
The Most Improved Rankings is one of the go-to reports as it gives all the keywords with the greatest rise in ranking. This could be new keywords, but also updated content or content that suddenly got a spike in traffic.
The Key Position Breakdown presents a list of keywords/pages for a specific bucket, making it easy to keep track of rising or declining keywords per position group.
Finally, the Click Through Rate performance gives a scatter graph on the growth opportunities of keywords/pages. This helps to evaluate a content strategy and create actionable steps to update or remove specific content.
