StoryChief adds canonical URLs to published articles. Canonical URLs tell search engines the original location of content.
If you're using the multichannel features of StoryChief to publish your content to multiple platforms, we take care of this for you.
Do I need to do anything?
Nope! We add a rel=canonical HTML element inside each version of your article automatically pointing to its original location.
When you publish an article, choose your main website or blog as the primary channel. The primary channel is also used when sharing your content to social media and other secondary channels.
Step 1. Go to the article of which you like to set the primary channel.
Step 2. The primary is set in the "Audience" tab of the article. Clicking on "Set as primary" will change it to that channel.
π Now the primary channel is set! Take a look at our other help articles to learn more about articles, duplicates and promoting your article.
