StoryChief adds canonical URLs to published stories. Canonical URLs tell search engines the original location of content.

If you're using the multichannel features of StoryChief to publish your content to multiple platforms, we take care of this for you.

Do I need to do anything?

Nope! We add a rel=canonical HTML element inside each version of your story automatically pointing to its original location.

When you publish a story, choose your main website or blog as the primary channel. The primary channel is also used when sharing your content to social media and other secondary channels.
