The most likely cause is that when Facebook tried to retrieve the image, the article and/or image was still being processed by your website and was therefore not available.

You won't need to delete the Facebook post and reshare your article. By following these instructions, you can just refresh the image:

Start resolving your preview image

Step 1. Navigate in your browser to the Facebook post and click on the date and time. Make sure to use Facebook as the page. In that case, choose 'Refresh share attachment'.

Step 2. When the correct preview image is loaded in, click 'Save' to apply the changes for your post.

Within the Meta Business Suite

Step 1. Open Meta Business Suite and look for your post.

Step 2. Open the post and scroll down to the preview. Now that the post is shown in full, click on the βˆ™βˆ™βˆ™ icon and choose 'Refresh share attachment'.

Step 4. The popup will load the new attachment. Click 'Save' when done and return to Facebook to view the post.

πŸ”” Note: The image should now be displayed. Still not showing? Visit the Facebook debugger and enter the link to the article on your website. If the image is not shown, there is likely a technical issue with your website. Contact us for more help.

πŸŽ‰ You're done, grab a coffee, you deserve it!
