New and improved features overview:
Broadcasts: get your team sharing your content
Getting colleagues to amplify your content no longer means copy-pasting links into chat and hoping someone posts. With Broadcasts, you write one message, attach ready-to-share posts with media and caption variants, pick your audience, and send.
Recipients get a public page where everything is pre-packaged, so sharing to their own social networks takes one click. Once a broadcast is published, use View live to see exactly what your audience sees.
Slack moves to Employee Advocacy
Slack now lives in the new Employee Advocacy section (previously "Referral marketing"), right next to Ambassadors and Press, instead of in your social channels list.
Existing Slack connections keep working, no reconnecting needed. Slack messages now also link straight to the related post in your StoryChief feed.
Share content in Microsoft Teams
Microsoft Teams joins Slack as an Employee Advocacy channel. Share content and broadcasts directly in your Teams channels, so colleagues get every update where they already work.
Publish to your Odoo website
Running your website on Odoo? You can now connect it to StoryChief and publish articles to it directly, just like any other website channel.
More control with custom roles
Custom roles have a new permission to hide the optimization sidebar (SEO, content gap, and plagiarism tools). Handy for writers or external contributors who should focus on writing, not scoring.
Your custom roles now also show up in the role dropdown when adding a new user, so you can assign the right permissions from the start.
That's a wrap for August. Go try it out. 👀
