If you stumble upon issues with the link between X and StoryChief, it might help to verify the connection between the tools.

🔔 Note: You need to be an admin of the connected Twitter account in order to complete this verification.

Please follow the next steps to check if the StoryChief - X connection has the right permissions to publish on your behalf.

Step 1. In your Twitter account on the left side menu click the 'More' button. Select 'Settings'.

Step 3. Select "Security and account access". Now, choose 'Apps and sessions'.

Step 5. Select 'Connected apps' and open 'StoryChief NV'.

Step 6. Verify that the StoryChief app exists and has the read and write permissions.

What if the app only has Read ( or only write ) permission?

In this case, you need to click "Revoke app permissions" and "<a href="https://help.storychief.io/en/articles/4312099-connect-your-twitter-account">Connect your Twitter account</a>" again.

What if the StoryChief app is not listed under the connected apps?
