1. Permissions
Guest writers get access to create new content and to see the ones they have been invited to. They don't have access to any statistics, any workspace settings and cannot publish content.

2. Getting started with StoryChief
Once the company invites you to StoryChief, you will receive an invitation email with the subject:
'You've been invited to join a StoryChief account' which looks like this:
Just click on 'Join workspace' to create a password or log in with your Google user or SSO. Once done, your StoryChief account will be active and you'll be able to access your workspace.
a. Set up your profile & change your password
To configure your personal profile, you need to log into the workspace > click on your name at the top right > click on 'Your profile'.

b. Accessing & creating content
If your colleague or client added an editorial brief for an article he assigned to you, you will also get this email:
If you click on the button in the first mail, you will go to the overview page of the articles you are invited to. Click on 'Content' to access other content, such as social posts, campaigns, newsletters etc.
If you click on the button in the second mail, you will immediately go to the specific assigned article with the editorial brief from your colleague, and you can start writing.
Wherever you are in the account, if you click on the logo of StoryChief, you will always go back to the Articles overview page.Β
When you're in an article detail page, you can start creating your article.Β
Simply write your article and perform the following actions:
add properties to words and sentences (subtitles, bold, quotes, bullet points, etc)
make a summary of your article (for blog overview, social media posts and newsletters)
and then click on 'send for approval' and select the person who assigned this article to you
This person will receive a notification and can give comments, and approve or decline your article.

d. Notifications
Keeping up to date on the progress of your content is crucial. With the notification center, you can quickly view comments and see what is pending approval to keep the creative process on track.
Your StoryChief inbox shows you an overview of new actions that happened. Every comment you are tagged in, each content piece pending your approval, a campaign that is about to start or finish and even destinations that disconnected.
In the screenshot below, you can see that unread notifications are marked with a blue circle.
Click on the checkbox to mark a notification as read. Additionally, you can click the checkbox in the bar on top to mark everything as read
Use the filter to view All notifications, Read notifications or Unread notifications

Click on the gear symbol to open your notification settings and adjust them
